What's New for the 2019 BMW X1?

The 2019 BMW X1, a crossover vehicle, has a classy look that is part classic BMW and part traditional SUV. It is now equipped with new navigation features such as real time traffic, standard remote services and optional Apple CarPlay. There are also new assistance features for drivers, including lane departure warning, forward collision warning and high beam assistant, which are part of the standard features in the new models. The BMW X1 is also the manufacturer’s most affordable model for the current year and is available in just the right shape. The sporty crossover includes front wheel driver, with all wheel drive available as an option if you want it. The vehicle runs on a 2.0 liter turbocharged engine that is comprised of four cylinders, 228 horsepower, 258 pounds per feet of torque and 8 speed automatic transmission.

There is plenty of head and leg room inside the BMW X1, with an abundance of space in the back for storing important items like loads of groceries or luggage. The crossover’s infotainment touchscreen is 8.8 inches as an option or 6.5 inches if you opt for the standard size. Apple CarPlay is available as part of your navigation as an option for free the first year. The 2019 BMW X1’s standard wheels are 18 inches, which are generally better than the optional 19 inch wheels. The grilles at the front of the vehicle are the mark of the traditional BMW style. The crossover ranks well in terms of safety for its braking system but is only slightly better than average in terms of its headlights. Standard safety features, in addition to the previously mentioned lane departure warning, include automatic high beams and pedestrian detection.
