Performance

The 2023 BMW X1 produces a command performance on the road. It has one powertrain and one trim level available. This is a 241-horsepower, turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder system. The X1 is also outfitted with an auto seven-speed, dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive. If you add the M Sport package, your X1 will have paddle shifters and adaptive suspension dampers. The 2023 X3 has three trim options with two powertrains. The lower two trims draw 248 horsepower from a 2.0-liter turbocharged, four-cylinder engine. This links to rear-wheel drive and an eight-speed auto transmission. The top X3 trim has a 382-horsepower, V6, 3.0-liter, mild-hybrid engine. This engine has the same transmission with all-wheel drive.

Appearance

The 2023 BMW X1 is the smaller of the two models. It has a confident look, upright profile, and gradual descents through the roof and hood. The sides show off their character with a deep, crisp accent running centrally through the door panels. The X1 has a chrome, kidney-style grille on the front end and a thin chrome bar that underlines the bumper and curves into the deep-set air intakes. The triangle-like headlights have a pair of 7-shaped LED light bars. The 2023 BMW X3, on the other hand, has a pair of definition lines and an angled air vent on the sides. The X3's grille is comparable to the X1's grille. However, the air vents are smaller, and the headlights have C-shaped LED bars.
