The 2020 BMW X2 is available in two trims that differ in performance capabilities. The X2 sDrive 28i has a 4-cylinder, TwinPower Turbo 2.0-liter engine, and it produces 228 horsepower. It takes this X2 trim approximately 6.6 seconds to accelerate up to 60 miles per hour with front-wheel drive. The X2 xDrive 28i has a comparable powertrain, and its acceleration rating is 6.3 seconds. This same powertrain is also found in the 2020 BMW X3’s trims. However, the X3 sDrive30i comes with rear-wheel drive. It generates 248 horsepower and accelerates up to 60 miles per hour in 6.0 seconds. The X3 xDrive30i has an intelligent all-wheel drive with comparable capabilities as the X3 sDrive30i.

Appearance

The differences between the 2020 BMW X2 and the BMW X3 continue throughout the exterior designs. The X2 has a lower profile with a stronger angle down the hood. The sharper edge of the hood creates a shorter nose height. Below the grille, the front fascia has a horizontal bar design. Throughout the sides, the contour lines have a straight edge and flow downward toward the front. The side windows and roof taper inward toward the rear. When you compare this to the X3’s appearance, you will see that the X3 has a dynamic front fascia with separated air vents and larger LED headlights. The side contouring is relatively level, and the roof and side windows maintain greater height as they carry toward the rear.

Features
