The 2017 BMW 5 Series was unveiled for the American market at the Detroit Auto Show this month, and already, automotive reviewers are getting their turn behind the wheel. Recently, Kelley Blue Book sought to see how the two went together.

Driver engagement has always been a staple of the 5 Series, and with some semi-autonomous features making their debut, many worried it would overshadow the connected experience of past versions. Consider that worry quashed. KBB tells us the 5 Series retains its artful steering and cornering abilities, all while offering more power from two all-new four- and six-cylinder turbo mills.
