Las Vegas Meets The i3

The Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas may have only lasted three days, but it left an impression for certain. We got to see some great technology from all areas, including the automotive world. The BMW i3 was at its best and showcased the innovative technology which is only second to the fact that it also is an electric car.

Two couples were even treated to a test drive of the i3 to see how its new features are being used to the fullest potential. One couple was blindfolded and allowed to cruise along without a care, because this car had its eyes open. Stopping short of any collision, forward or reverse, the car even had eyes in the blind spot and was able to detect if an object got too close.

The other couple got to see how at the touch of a button their parking woes were gone. The i3 requires no help from the driver and shows how it truly is poetry in motion. We may have just been blinded not just by its beauty, but also by the science behind this car.
