What's New for the 2025 BMW X4?

The 2025 BMW X4 is a sportier, sleeker alternative to the X3. It is a compact luxury crossover SUV that offers a few updates for drivers and passengers to enjoy. For example, all X4 crossovers now include standard heated front seats. In addition, remote engine start is now offered with the Convenience and Premium packages.

The stunning style of the 2025 BMW X4 is unchanged from the 2024 version. This crossover SUV has a fastback profile with rigorous contouring across the upper and lower door panels. These design elements combine with lower rocker panels and an air vent near the front fender for a standout look. At the front end, the 2025 X4 is styled with a compact, kidney-shaped grille mounted above a thick, black bumper. To the sides, piercing LED headlights sit above thick air inlets.

This four-door, two-row model is available in two trim levels: the xDrive30i and the M40i. The X4 xDrive30i is loaded with a turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine. This system delivers 248 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The M40i has a turbo 3.0-liter, six-cylinder engine. This engine produces 382 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. Both trim levels have standard all-wheel drive and an eight-speed auto transmission. The M40i also has an adaptive M Sport suspension, Sport and Comfort modes, and larger rotors.

If you opt for the xDrive30i, your X4 will come with a dual-zone auto climate control system, a power liftgate, a panoramic sunroof, a 12-speaker audio system, a 12.3-inch touch display screen, a 12.3-inch infotainment system screen, synthetic leather seats, wireless smartphone app connections, front and rear parking sensors, a blind-spot detection system, forward collision detection with auto braking and others. The M40i adds upgraded trim, driver lumbar support, an upgraded steering wheel, proximity keyless functions, and synthetic leather material on the dashboard.

The xDrive30i's Convenience package introduces lumbar support, the proximity keyless feature, and remote start. The Premium package adds all of the Convenience features along with a heated steering wheel and a head-up display. Additional upgrades include heated rear seats, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, wireless phone charging, a surround-view camera, automated parking, a dash cam recorder, and more.
