The 2023 and 2024 BMW X2 versions have the same powertrains, but the 2024 model year introduces a mild-hybrid component to its engines. In addition, these fine-tuned engines now produce more horsepower. In 2023, the 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine will generate 228 horsepower, which will increase to 248 horsepower in 2024.
