The BMW 3 Series is a luxury sports sedan that has long captured the hearts of driving enthusiasts. In 2026, the BMW 3 Series is unchanged from the previous model year.
Two trim levels are offered for the 2026 BMW 3 Series. The entry-level option is the 330i. Under the hood, this trim is powered by a turbo four-cylinder, 255-horsepower engine with an eight-speed auto transmission. It comes with standard rear-wheel drive, and all-wheel drive is offered. The M340i comes with a mild-hybrid, turbo six-cylinder engine. This system features the same drivetrain and transmission as the 330i. In addition, it adds a sport suspension, sport brakes, and a sport differential.
The premium style of the BMW 3 Series is defined by a forward-leaning stance and an aerodynamic, sleek profile. The sporty look is elevated by sweeping side contours and an upward-trending definition line across the sides. On the front end, the lower fascia trends out to sharp points, and it is flanked by deep-set air inlets. The kidney-shaped grille is compact, and it stretches out to the dual-elemental LED headlights. The 330i comes with 18-inch wheels, rain-sensing wipers, and power-folding and heated side mirrors. The M340i adds a rear spoiler and a sportier front bumper.
Every 3 Series for 2026 is outfitted with a sunroof, synthetic leather or authentic leather upholstery, a three-zone climate control system, BMW connected services, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a curved 12.3-inch infotainment system screen, a 14.9-inch driver’s digital instrument panel, a cloud-based navigation system and forward collision mitigation, the M340i adds a sport steering wheel and keyless entry. Options available for the 2026 3 Series include a heated steering wheel, parking sensors, a blind-spot warning, adaptive cruise control, a front cross-traffic warning, evasive steering assistance, and active lane keeping assistance.
