What's New for the 2025 BMW X1?
The BMW X1 is the automaker's smallest crossover. While it is among the most affordable models in the lineup, the X1 is loaded with features and has the solid performance capabilities drivers expect from a BMW. In 2025, the BMW X1 will be a mid-generation model and will not introduce any updates.
The 2025 X1 will have two trim levels available. The xDrive28i will impress you with 241 horsepower produced from a turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine. The M35i xDrive has a more powerful variation of this same powertrain, giving you 312 horsepower. Both powertrains feature a seven-speed, dual-clutch auto transmission along with all-wheel drive. The M35i xDrive also has adaptive suspension dampers and upgraded brakes.
A tall profile with sleek, aerodynamic contouring characterizes the facade. The nose shows off a wide, kidney-style grille with sharp corners. A body-colored element and large, L-shaped air vents outline the lower fascia. LED ribbons mirrored this shape in the slender headlights. The lower trim level has a power liftgate and 18-inch wheels. The top trim level adds 19-inch wheels, adaptive headlights, and optional black trim.
The X1 xDrive28i is well-appointed with standard features like wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, synthetic leather seats, a digital instrument panel, a navigation system, a 10.7-inch touch display screen, front and rear parking sensors, a blind-spot warning, forward collision mitigation, and others. This trim is also offered numerous standard options at the higher trim level. These include a Harman Kardon sound system, a head-up display, an interior camera, a 360-degree camera, a front cross-traffic alert, an augmented reality overlay for the navigation system, a wireless charging pad, a sport steering wheel, low-speed hands-free driving, and others. The top trim also allows you to add active driving assistance and lane centering.
