What's New for the 2025 BMW 7 Series?

The 2025 model year brings a few updates to the BMW 7 Series. This high-class, full-size sedan offers the roomy, luxurious interior you want, along with enviable styling and premium engineering. What can you expect from the improved 2025 BMW 7 Series?

The primary updates to the 7 Series are found inside the vehicle. With its new Siri voice assistant, the refreshed iDrive operating system eliminates the push-to-talk function. In addition, hands-free driving is available. It supports lane changing with simple glances at the side mirrors.

The performance capabilities of the 2025 BMW 7 Series are unchanged. The entry-level engine is a 375-horsepower, turbo 3.0-liter, inline-six engine. It features rear-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is available. A plug-in hybrid engine with a turbo inline-six system is standard in mid-level trims. It comes with all-wheel drive and generates 483 horsepower. The most powerful engine available in this year's 7 Series is a 536-horsepower, 4.4-liter, turbo V8 system. This gas-powered engine is designed with all-wheel drive.

The 7 Series has refined styling with a long, tapered profile and a gently descending hood. Upper and lower sections of the side panels have bold, crisp accent lines. The grille stands tall and features sharp corners and a horizontal bend. The LED headlights have a minimalist look. Exterior features include a trunk-lid spoiler, black trim, adaptive headlights, and 20-inch wheels.

Cabin features that carry forward from 2024 include a Bowers & Wilkins sound system with 40 speakers, automated parking, a surround-view camera, auto-opening and closing doors, adaptive cruise control, reclining seats with footrests, massaging and heated front seats for both rows, Highway Assist, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a wireless charging pad, a navigation system, a head-up display, a 14.9-inch touch display screen, a panoramic sunroof with interior lighting, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a heated steering wheel, soft-close doors and additional features.
